Sandeep Kumar Bomthapalli is a Sr Staff ASIC Design Engineer at GlobalFoundries. He has spent his career in automotive functional safety across Synopsys, NXP Semiconductors, and ZF — working across processor IP, automotive SoCs, and braking systems. He holds ISO 26262 (TÜV SÜD) and ISO/PAS 8800 certifications and is a member of the IEEE Standards Committee. He chaired a technical dialogue session at IEEE APEC 2026.
