Mel is an automotive innovation and engineering leader with over 20 years of experience spanning industry and academia. As director of North America infotainment and feature planning at Stellantis, she drives feature strategy by integrating market trends, customer insights and technology. Previously, Mel led innovation and advanced development, spearheading new features across five domains, including infotainment and driver assistance. Her leadership extends beyond innovation into vehicle program management, where she successfully oversaw the launch and governance of high-profile models like the Grand Wagoneer and Chrysler Pacifica. Her expertise spans design and release engineering, specializing in interior components for sedans, trucks and SUVs. She holds a master’s in mechanical engineering from Michigan Tech and an executive MBA from Michigan State. With a passion for crafting customer-centric driving experiences, Mel continues to shape the future of vehicle innovation.
