Previously, Mel led innovation and advanced development, spearheading new features across five domains, including infotainment and driver assistance. Her leadership extends beyond innovation into vehicle program management, where she successfully oversaw the launch and governance of high-profile models like the Grand Wagoneer and Chrysler Pacifica. Her expertise spans design and release engineering, specializing in interior components for sedans, trucks and SUVs. She holds a master’s in mechanical engineering from Michigan Tech and an executive MBA from Michigan State.
