For automotive interior components, Aircell® panels can be surface-finished with textile, foam, or fleece lamination — giving the lightweight PP panel core a soft-touch, presentable finish suitable for visible interior parts.
Typical applications include trunk floor flaps, load floors and side panels, spare-wheel and trunk covers, partition walls, and trunk liners.
Where load-bearing surfaces need additional grip, panels can instead be finished with an anti-slip (TPE) coating. Edges can be supplied open or sealed, depending on the application.
The panel core is built from three precisely coordinated PP film layers using Aircell's patented 3D thermoforming process, combining low weight with high stability — supporting automotive interior components that need to be both durable and visually finished.
